Every day has been Friday for the last week, but now it’s finally arrived again – who can believe freshers’ is nearly over? It feels like it was only last night we were dancing at SNATCH, but we’re here to make sure your QMU freshers’ week ends just as well as it begun.
Gutted you missed the houseplant sale yesterday? No fear, as they’ll be back again today – get down from 10am to grab some plants to decorate your new home, and there’ll be beautiful pots on sale too. Your plant deserves somewhere nice to call home as much as you do!
Our final pool tournament of freshers’ week will run from 12pm – head down to Champs to be in with a chance of winning a cash prize! Simply turn up to join the league, and to find out more about our year-round pool league, too.
Everyone’s favourite musical will be airing in Champion’s Bar from 3pm – we already see you shivering with anticipation for the Rocky Horror Picture Show! Come and see your new favourite film, or alternatively, sing every word along with people who know it already.
Our final freshers’ quiz, Friday Union Quiz – FUQ for short – will run in Jim’s Bar at 5pm. Be there to be in with a chance of winning some shit hot prizes – test your pop culture knowledge to be crowned champions!
We’ve saved the messiest night until last – our Freshers’ Paint Party will be in Qudos from 10pm tonight – and it’s going to be big, with the party running until 3am! Get down, get soaked, and get colourful with us all. Thank you for letting us share freshers’ week with you – lets see it out in style!
