Freshers’ Information: Saturday

We hope you enjoyed Gaff last night – anything with free food always scores bonus points in my book. If you didn’t get a chance to go, or are ready for another night of partying, do not worry as there is plenty more where that came from. Freshers’ has only just begun!
If you want to find out more about the history of the QMU, head on down to the Reception between 11am and 4pm for a building tour, conducted by our very own helpers in bright red t-shirts.
Some would say there’s no better introduction to Glasgow than the iconic film Trainspotting, and luckily for you we are screening it in Games at 2pm.
The main event of the night is our famous White T-Shirt Party: everyone is armed with a pen and a white t-shirt, and no one is safe. Not only do you get to dance the night away, with music courtesy of MILK Glasgow, but you get to keep your graffitied t-shirt as a reminder of the night. All are welcome and, with it open until 3am, it is one to bring your pals to!
Alternatively, if you want something more low-key, head to Bar from 10pm for some karaoke with Drag Machine, the QM’s brand new drag night. Whichever you choose, don’t forget to get glitter and face paint in support of Mental Health Foundation. And, as always, stay hydrated and have fun.
