We’re officially half way through Freshers’ Week, but don’t you worry as the best is still to come. I hope you still have some of your voice left from last night as we are hosting our very own qmunicate workshop, so swing by Cafe on the ground floor of the QM from 2 pm. The editors will go into detail about their positions, answering any questions you may have and sharing example pitches for discussions. Most importantly, there will be some delicious snacks for you! We hope to see you there, but if you can’t make it don’t worry as we’ll be hosting our first meeting of the semester next Wednesday (25th) at 5.30 pm in the QMU Boardroom.

If you love a good pub quiz, the Big Wednesday Night Pub Quiz in Bar will be for you! Drag your new friends and flatmates for the chance to win some prizes and hear some cracking quiz related puns. Other events of the day include the Charity and Wellbeing Fair in Venue from 10 am where you can find out more about how to get involved in different charities on campus.
For the main event of the night, channel your best Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake look for our Double Denim night. The tunes will be all out 90s and 00s, the denim will be copious, and the drinks will be flowing. So bring your best fashion faux pas, and we can’t wait to see you there.
